Shante You Stay.
RuPaul’s Drag Race is an Emmy-award-winning reality television competition that premiered on Logo TV in 2009 and now airs on MTV. The show, hosted by RuPaul, seeks to crown the “next drag superstar” through a series of challenges that test the contestants’ skills in fashion, makeup, and performance. In each episode, a group of drag queens compete in challenges including creating and presenting a runway look and competing in a main challenge, which often involves creating and performing in a music or comedy sketch.
RuPaul and a panel of judges evaluate the contestants’ performances and select one or more queens to be eliminated from the competition. The last queen standing wins a cash prize and a one-year supply of Anastasia Beverly Hills cosmetics.
